Orora Visual Rolls Out New Creative & Innovation Center

Mesquite, TX [Oct 2022]

Orora Visual has invested in a new, improved 1,560-square-foot Creative & Innovation Center at its Dallas Headquarters location in Mesquite, Texas to provide an enhanced work environment conducive to collaboration among the creative team members, sales associates, and customers.

“Engaging with our clients upfront in the creative & design process is what makes partnering with Orora Visual special.  Our structural & creative designers are the best in the industry and the new space in Dallas matches our talent.  Most importantly it will provide client inspiration and collaboration when on site,” says Scott Harvey, Chief Customer & Revenue Officer, Orora Visual.

“Functionally, our graphic designers and structural engineers now have proper lighting and the space to create, build and test prototypes, displays, and oversized props. Our new space includes a designated photo booth, plenty of worktables, areas for tools, finishing, substrates, and a conference area. And, thanks to Walmart, we have overhead grids and gondola endcaps to test our designs before they go to print.  These important functions streamline our creative process and elevate the customer experience, said Kim Trigo, Creative Director, Orora Visual.

The new designated Creative & Innovation Center is just one of the Dallas facility’s reconfiguration efforts for optimal use of space, production efficiencies, and additional square footage for large campaign kitting and pack-outs. The Creative Center is a secure area, which means the customer’s product that is used for prototype testing for rigidity and effectiveness is under lock and key.

The space also features many examples of Orora Visual’s concepts and creations, which give customers confidence in the Creative Team’s ability to execute their vision from concept to completion. “It’s an inspiring visual experience as well as a tactile one, being able to see and touch our prototypes before they land at the store level is extremely valuable,” said Tom Custer, Vice President of Retail/Brands.

“I am especially proud of the new 35’ wall graphic mural. I wanted to design something that would be a showstopper with a lot of movement, color and represent what my team and I bring to the table every day. I saw a quote from Albert Einstein many years ago that I felt was appropriate for the space: "Creativity Is Intelligence Having Fun". The mural concept is a graphic representation of analytical problem-solving culminating into innovative, bright, energetic, creative thinking that sets us apart in the visual graphics industry”, Trigo added.
