Our Culture

Orora Visual’s values of Teamwork, Passion, Respect and Integrity define who we are and how we operate. They shape the way we work with each other, with our customers and with our communities.

Our Six Pillars for Growth

Culture matters. Orora Visual has defined six cultural pillars for the growth and success of our people, our customers, and our shareholders. We have defined what we want our company to be and we have laid out the framework of how we want to operate as a company in order to get there.

 Our Commitment to Community

Orora Visual’s goals to support and give back to our local communities extends across all four of our print production facilities across the U.S. located in Mesquite, TX (Dallas area), Fullerton, CA (Orange County area), Niles, IL (Chicago area) and Clinton, NJ. Our organization and its generous employee’s efforts include volunteerism, event sponsorships, and in-kind monetary donations. We also hold many types of drives throughout the year to support local needs for food, blood, personal care items, school supplies, household items, toys and more. Here are some of the local community and national organizations that we have supported.

  • The Breast Cancer Research Foundation

  • Orange County Toy Collaborative

  • Toys for Tots - Chicago

  • Northern Illinois Food Bank

  • Passaic County Women’s Center

  • Paterson School No. 16, Paterson, NJ

  • Katharine Malone Elementary School, Rockaway, NJ

  • Sharing Life Outreach

  • Mesquite Police “Santa Cop Toy Program”

  • Salvation Army Angel Tree Program

  • Carter Blood Care

  • Dallas Women’s Addiction Center

  • American Heart Association (AHA)

  • AHA Dallas Heart Walk Sponsor

American Heart Association (AHA) - Southwest Affiliate

Throughout the years, our support of the AHA Southwest Affiliate has included fundraising efforts and in-kind sponsorships directed toward the annual AHA Dallas Heart Walk. For the past 12 years our employees have hosted an annual golf outing to raise funds for the event. Our fundraising efforts have also included employee sponsored bake sales, taco Tuesday lunches and even a silent auction of fun items.

“Orora Australian Bushfire Appeal” - Australia

In response to the unprecedented and devastating bushfire events that occurred across much of the Australian continent in 2020, our parent company, Orora Group, launched an “Orora Australian Bushfire Appeal” GoFundMe Page on behalf of the Australian Red Cross.

March 1st ended our 8-week fundraising efforts. Orora team members were immensely generous with donating their time to volunteer responding to fires and supporting affected communities. Additionally, employees around the globe rallied to raise more than $64,521 combined with Orora Group’s initial donation of $50,000 and a company match (dollar for dollar), brought the total to $179,042. Our donations helped the Australian Red Cross provide immediate support at evacuation centers, psychological first aid and emergency assistance including cash grants to people that lost their homes as well as support longer-term recovery programs in fire-affected communities.

 Health and Safety

The safety, health and wellbeing of all Orora team members and co-workers is paramount and Orora Visual continues to invest in safety to drive improved performance across the business. In 2020, Orora commenced a three year program to continue improvement in safety, health and wellbeing across the business. The program is initially focused on three core areas across the entire business:

  • Broaden and focus the Governance System

  • Restructure the Safety Management System

  • Enhance the Serious Injury or Fatality

Safety during COVID-19

Orora Visual was swift to implement a range of safety and health measures to respond and mitigate any risk of transmission into and at all of our North American sites and workplaces. These measures included a review ofpolicies and procedures, additional site audits and the introduction of a safety and health checklist to confirm that enhanced safety and health measures were being implemented and achieving the intended outcomes.

Our Orora Visual team worked closely with its customers, including Lowes, to support those in the community most at risk of COVID-19 transmission.
